As the New Year begins, I would like to take a moment to thank our donors who supported our Annual Brotherhood Fund this past year. I know we say it frequently, but your support does make a difference in allowing us to provide the quality programs and services each year to our Undergraduate Brothers that is funded by our Annual Brotherhood Fund. Many folks don’t realize, that our annual fund is just as important as the scholarships and grants we provide through restricted gifts. Your annual contribution allows us to provide Leadership School, Annual Conclaves, and other services to our chapters throughout the year. Thank you!

Your time and talent is just as important as your gifts. The National Office is working with Graduate Brothers to develop an online mentoring group through LinkedIn©. While we are still in the early stages, your involvement will be crucial if it is to be successful. Please read the article by Joe Tait (Epsilon Phi, 1982) regarding this new initiative. We are excited by the opportunities this program will potentially provide in allowing Graduate Brothers to mentor Undergraduate Brothers as they prepare for the work force.

In our next edition of Foundation Focus, we will recognize those Brothers who contribute – treasury, time, and talent – to our Order, as well as highlight the events that occurred at the Annual Conclave in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, January 29 to 31, 2010.
